A method for installing a prestressing element in an anchor block, where the prestressing element is attached to a holder, includes the holder being moved to the anchor block, the prestressing element being introduced to some through-opening of the anchor block, along with the prestressing element being repaired to the anchor block. The holder may be attached to the prestressing element at a distance that’s selected so the length of the projection of the prestressing element on the face of the holder facing the anchor block is higher than the span of some part of the prestressing element, which is needed for presenting the prestressing element into the through-opening and adjusting the prestressing element to the anchor block.
